I am a machine learning theorist and engineer at Meta Superintelligence Labs. I work on reinforcement learning and large language models.
I completed my PhD at the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Washington, where I was fortunate to be advised by Professor Simon Shaolei Du and worked closely with Professor Maryam Fazel.
I was a research intern at Apple, Seattle, supervised by Dr. Lefan Zhang, Dr. Shang-Chen Wu, and Xuan Kelvin Zou from June 2025 to January 2026. I was a research intern at Microsoft Research, Redmond, supervised by Dr. Baolin Peng and Dr. Hao Cheng in Spring 2025, Dr. Yi Zhang in Summer 2024, and Dr. Beibin Li in Summer 2023.
I received my BEng from Yao Class, Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences at Tsinghua University, with my undergraduate thesis jointly advised by Professor Simon Shaolei Du and Professor Yi Wu.
During undergraduate and secondary school, I actively participated in the Olympiad in Informatics and ACM-ICPC.
